The Battle of Pozières is remembered for the role played by the ANZAC forces : Memorial to the 1st and 2nd Australian Division... It was also the first front to see the use of tanks... The village of Pozières symbolise the first engagement of Australian troops (Memorial to the 1st and 2nd Australian Division).

The Franco-Australian Museum
Created by the Franco-Australian Association, the Franco-Australian Museum, unveiled the April 25 th 1975, is located on the first floor of the Victoria School. Run by the association, the museum tells the story of the Australans during the First World War, particulary on the Western front in 1918.

National Australian Memorial
The immense Australian Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, inaugurated in 1938, (the site each year of the commemoration of Anzac Day) reflect the vital contribution of the Australian troops.

Fromelles, a commune in the Nord Department in Northern France. It's the place of the famous Battle of Fromelles in July 1916. The Battle of Fromelles is the first occasion on which the First Australian Imperial Force (AIF) saw action on the Western Front.
