Itinerary

Day 1

Mercure hotel Amiens Arrival in France at Paris CDG airport- Welcome by France Golf Tours - collect your rental car OR meet your driver.

Drive or transfer to Amiens (1,5h)

Lodging at The Mercure Amiens Cathédrale hotel is located in the heart of the city center just a 10-minute walk from the train station. Right next to the Gothic cathedral, it is an ideal location for visiting the historic Saint Leu district, Jules Verne's house and the Les Hortillonnages gardens.

Day 2

Pozières

Guided Tour ANZAC sites :

Pozières
The Battle of Pozières is remembered for the role played by the ANZAC forces : Memorial to the 1st and 2nd Australian Division... It was also the first front to see the use of tanks... The village of Pozières symbolise the first engagement of Australian troops (Memorial to the 1st and 2nd Australian Division).

The Franco-Australian Museum
Created by the Franco-Australian Association, the Franco-Australian Museum, unveiled the April 25 th 1975, is located on the first floor of the Victoria School. Run by the association, the museum tells the story of the Australans during the First World War, particulary on the Western front in 1918.

National Australian Memorial
The immense Australian Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, inaugurated in 1938, (the site each year of the commemoration of Anzac Day) reflect the vital contribution of the Australian troops.

Day 3

Fromelles Suggested visit :

Fromelles, a commune in the Nord Department in Northern France. It's the place of the famous Battle of Fromelles in July 1916. The Battle of Fromelles is the first occasion on which the First Australian Imperial Force (AIF) saw action on the Western Front.

Drive or transfer to Normandy (2,5h):

Lodging at Deauville's Hotel du Golf, a luxury four star hotel overlooking Deauville, in a handsome and typical Norman architecture with golf course on site.

Day 4

Deauville golf 1 Golf at Deauville golf course, a traditional and challenging course designed by Tom Simpson overlooking Deauville's bay.

Suggested visit and shopping in Deauville, lady of the French coast, its most glamorous seaside resort, symbolizing elegance, prestige and sophistication. In addition of being a terrific place for shopping, Deauville is also famous for its beaches, casino and magnificent race-track.

Day 5

etretat golf aerial cgcc Golf at Etretat golf course, one of the most spectacular layout in Europe situated at the top of Etretat's cliffs and overlooking the worldwide known natural arches in the cliffs.

Suggested visit of Honfleur and its famous painters'port, with its colourful fishing boats and timber-beamed houses.

Day 6

Golf at Omaha Beach golf course, a challenging course along the sea and close to the famous landing beaches.

Lodging at Château de la Chenevière. This delightful 4 star château hotel is ideally located near Omaha Beach golf course and the DDAY sites.

Day 7

DDAY operations Full day guided tour DDAY sites.
Visit of the D.Day Beaches (Omaha Beach, one of the bloodiest beaches on June 6 1944, Pointe du Hoc, symbol of courage of the Colonel Rudder's 225 rangers, the American cemetery, Sainte-Mère Eglise and its hung paratrooper, Utah Beach).

Lodging at Château de la Chenevière.

Day 8


Drive or transfer to Paris (2,5h). Departure - End of the tour.
