Golf at Waterville golf course
The pleasure of playing Waterville starts along the “Ring of Kerry”, which you first take south of Killarney. This course borders on the Atlantic Ocean. In 2003 Waterville was touched in renovation by the famed hand of Tom Fazio. All holes are framed by dunes and menacing bunkers. It joins Pine Valley and Winged Foot as one of Fazio’s renovation masterpieces. To quote Mark O'Meara, “ Waterville and Ballybunion helped me realize the dream of a lifetime—victory in the Open Championship” the following week.
