Ballybunion Old Course
Ireland's most famous course and consistently rated amongst the world's finest. Perched on a sandy cliff top, it makes its way through dunes and valleys with dramatic changes in elevation. The greens are often perched on mounds or carefully sheltered between sand dunes.

Ballybunion Cashen (New Course)
This course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is slightly harder to decipher , where there is less room for intuition and more for knowledge of distance when choosing your clubs. A little American touch, even though approach shots can still be played “British” style. However Robert Trent Jones has made maximum use of the terrain’s natural contours and limited earthworks, while giving each hole its own character. The course’s forceful personality would make this a must anywhere else, but here it lives in the shadow of the old course.

Killarney Killeen Golf Course
Although the closing holes here are not quite as spectacular as those on its illustrious neighbor, Killen is generally considered to be the most challenging course of this remarkable 54 hole complex. It stage the Irish Open in 1991 & 1992, when Nick Faldo triumphed.
While it is difficult to pick one of the Killarney courses over the other two, it is a case of everyone of his own. But the purists say that Killeen just has the edge, especially that all 18 tees and greens have been re-built and the course re-opened.

Golf de Killarney Lackabane

Lackabane is the newest of the three courses at the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club. This Parkland course opened officially for play in 2000. Lakes and streams are a feature throughout the length and breadth of the course, adding beauty and danger in equal measure.
