Day 1

 

Arrival in France at Paris CDG airport – Welcome by France Golf Tours – Transfer to Loire Valley
 

Visit of Château de Chenonceau Château de Chenonceau is a jewel of French Renaissance built in 1513 by Thomas Bohier, François the 1st Intendant of Finance. The first part of the Château de Chenonceau was the simple rectangular four-towered block with steeply pitched roof standing on piles in the River Cher. This castle is now worldwide renowned for its five-arched bridge over the Cher river and was devoted to many Kings’ wives, including Diane de Poitiers, « la toujours belle », and Catherine de Medicis, « la fastueuse » who inspired the magnificent gardens in front of the castle.

Golf at Château des Sept Tours golf course
Set at the foot of the château, Château des Sept Tours Golf Course is renowned for its quietness and the quality of its greens.
The narrow fairways surrounded by the forest require straight shots.
The 9th and 18th holes face the magnificent castle and are ideal opportunities for royal drives

Day 3
 
Cooking class at Domaine de la Tortinière
In the heart of Touraine region and its famous Douceur de Vivre, Olivier and Anne Olivereau will make you discover the culinary secrets of their preparation through first hand experience in a 3 hours cooking lesson including some wine discussion. Cooking session will be followed by lunch with dishes prepared during the cooking class
  


 
 

Visit of Château de Villandry Gardens. Villandry is renowned for the harmony of its architecture and is the last of the great Renaissance Châteaux built on the banks of the Loire. Originally, a feudal stronghold stood on the spot where Philip Augustus king of France and Henry II Plantagenet king of England met on July 4, 1189. Visitors are impressed by the splendour of its courtyard, the elegance of its facades reflected in the still water of the moat and the charm of its XVIIIth century state room.
Villandry, undoubtedly owes its fames to the splendid and unique terraces of gardens which encase it like a jewelled casket.

Day 4
 

Golf at Les Bordes International golf course
Created by the famous Baron Bich and designed by Robert von Hagge at his most inventive, Les Bordes is an international class golf course consistently ranked among the top five in Europe.
On this championship golf course, the water shimmers on 12 of the 18 holes in the heart of the Sologne forest making a real challenge even for the best players (the course record is only one stroke under par)
The experience of playing les Bordes is definitely something any golfer will treasure and when possible, deserves to be played twice

  Visit of Château de Chambord .The château de Chambord is the largest castle in France with its 440 rooms and one of the loviest Renaissance castle in the Loire valley.
This elegant château was built by Francois the 1st, Louis XII’s successor, who came to the throne in 1515 when he was only 20 years old. Francois the 1st had been particularly impressed by the figure of Lorenzo the Magnificent, an outstanding personality in the field of politics and culture.

Fashion guided tour in Paris
All over the world Paris is considered as fashion’s capital.
The "fashion and design Tour" is a guided shopping tour featuring visits to fashion stores, as well as interior decoration and design stores, galleries and designer showrooms, filled with unexpected encounters with those who make the news in the design world in Paris: creators and designers who assert their originality while representing contemporary trends. A unique and appealing way to explore Paris design and to pick up brand new ideas for dressing and decorating 

Lodging at Hotel du Louvre
Inaugurated in 1855 on the request of Napoleon III, to face the many visitors of the Universal Exposition; it became the first luxury hotel in France. The hotel’s elegance comfort and splendour won the admiration of its guests.
In 1897, the impressionist painter, Camille Pissaro, took up residence in one of the apartments of the hotel. He painted several of his great paintings of Paris from his window.
The atmosphere of this unique Parisian place , surrounded by Le Louvre Museum, the Opera de Paris and La Comédie Française, also inspired the great Sherlock Holmes author who featured the Hotel du Louvre in several novels.
All rooms are individually decorated and bathrooms are in very elegant beige marble.

 
Day 6
 
Da Vinci Code Guided Tour
The da Vinci Code”, the controversial thriller by Dan Brown starts in Paris, and the first half of the novel takes place in the City of Lights. With your private guide, you will retrace Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu’s footsteps as they decipher clues hidden in Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpieces: the Ritz Hotel, la Grande Galerie du Musée du Louvre, where fictional curator Jacques Saunière was murdered, works of art such as the Mona Lisa and The Virgin of the Rocks by Leonardo da Vinci, the Death of the Virgin by Caravaggio, l’arc du Carousel, pont du Carousel, the frescoes by Eugène Delacroix, the ceiling, the astronomical gnomen, and the “brass Line” inside Saint-Sulpice Church, and the jardin des Tuileries. You’ll find the Arago plaques (pictured at left) that mark Paris’ “Rose Line”, the north–south meridional line from which all east–west distances in France were measured until 1884. Search for the holy grail in I.M. Pei’s Inverted Pyramid…
