Hotel du Louvre
Inaugurated in 1855 on the request of Napoleon III, to face the many visitors of the Universal Exposition; it became the first luxury hotel in France. The hotel’s elegance comfort and splendour won the admiration of its guests.
In 1897, the impressionist painter, Camille Pissaro, took up residence in one of the apartments of the hotel. He painted several of his great paintings of Paris from his window.
The atmosphere of this unique Parisian place , surrounded by Le Louvre Museum, the Opera de Paris and La Comédie Française, also inspired the great Sherlock Holmes author who featured the Hotel du Louvre in several novels.
All rooms are individually decorated and bathrooms are in very elegant beige marble.

Paris International Club golf course
Located within 15 miles from the French Capital, Paris International Club is the only golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus in France. This hilly parkland course with great water hazards and island greens is a championship eighteen holes which has hosted the French Ladies Open part of the European PGA tour. With its impeccable fairways and manicured greens, Paris International Club is one of the highest quality course in Paris area. It is also a very exclusive golf country club, member of ClubCorp, featuring an outstanding traditional clubhouse and luxury facilities
National Albatross golf course
National Albatross golf course is a championship links course, site of the French Open (part of the European PGA) for the last 10 years, and ranked by Golf Weekly Magazine as the 3rd best European professional tournament venue.
Within 20 miles only from Paris Notre Dame church, one can easily thinks oneself in Ireland with this Irish links design, even more Irish when the wind blows. Under these conditions, the Albatross course can be considered as one of the toughest course in Europe where playing one’s handicap is a miracle.
The finish on 18th, a short par 5 with water hazard in front of the green remains a fantastic challenge for those who would attempt to reach it in two strokes
Chantilly (old) golf course
Regularly ranked among the top ten courses in Continental Europe, Chantilly golf course is a real challenge for golfers.
Designed by one of the best golf architect in the beginning of the century, Tom Simpson, Chantilly hosted 10 times the French Open (part of the European PGA) in the eighties with world class champions such as Nick Faldo winner of the 1989 edition as he was at his top.
The world’s best players (including Bobby Jones) have played at Chantilly, French counter part of the Royal and Ancient, and all of them have suffered on terrible roughs comparable to those in the British Open
