Day
1 |
4.00 pm : Meeting in Dijon - private
transfer to the Libellule barge moored a short drive away in the village of St.
Jean de Losne. Sip champagne as we welcome you on board and introduce you to the
crew. Settle in on our cruise to nearby Seurre, with time for a lovely
pre-dinner stroll around this pleasant town. Join us back on board for the first
of many superlative meals.

Day
2 |
After breakfast, drive to
Dijon for a walking tour of this historic capital, including the Ducal
Palace and lovely medieval district. Afterward, stroll the city on your own. See
the many fine mansions that line the city streets and, if you choose, pay a
visit to the Fine Arts Museum. We return to Libellule and cast off during lunch
on a cruise through delightful pastoral scenery. Late this afternoon, we dock in
Chalon-sur-Saône, birthplace of photography. Moor in the heart of the city,
close to St. Vincent Cathedral and the medieval quarter, now a pedestrian
zone.

Roseraie golf course Created in 1976,Chalon-sur-Saône La Roseraie
golf course is par 71, 5859 meters length designed by Michel RIO. Enhanced by
many bunches of flowers, the course is a flat layout but its narrow fairways and
numerous bunkers make it technical and a good score here requires a wide variety
of golf shots. The design will reward straight players.

3 |
After breakfast, we head to
Beaune , center of Burgundy’s wine trade. Our drive
follows the Côte de Beaune, whose villages read like a fine wine list:
Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Auxey Duresses, Volnay, Pommard. In the
walled town of Beaune, take a guided visit of the Hôtel-Dieu, a charity
hospital founded in 1443. A masterpiece of late medieval architecture, it
houses priceless art and is topped by a remarkable glazed-tiled roof.
Afterward, explore on your own. After lunch and strolling time in Chalon,
we cruise to historic Tournus, home to the Romanesque-style Collegiate
Church of St. Philibert.

Caves Patriarches , the
most famous wine cellars in Burgundy since 1780 located under the streets of
Beaune in extraordinary galleries, featuring thousands of bottles of
wine.

Day
4 |
| Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, before
visiting the famous perched village of Brancion and the
castle of Cormatin . Return to Tournus for lunch, then
explore the town. Back underway, we cruise through pastures populated with
the famed white Charolais cattle that are native to this area. A
mid-afternoon mooring in Mâcon leaves time for exploring, biking, or a
quiet walk along the river. |

Golf at Bresse Golf Course
Located in the famous Dombes natural area, Bresse golf course is a
haven of peace amid old preserved trees and ponds. From the back tees, it
is a true challenge with many water hazards and elevated greens. However,
thanks to different set of tees, it remains playable by all golfers and
whatever happens, the promenade remains delightful. |

course Ideally situated, 13 miles from Lyon, the Golf Club of
Mionnay has a superb 18-hole course set in beautiful, mature woodlands in
the Dombes region. The club-house, a charming French château, offers
refined cuisine in a warm
atmosphere. |

5 |

This morning we visit the
Beaujolais hills , an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Grapes for exclusive wines grow in the northern hills, where limestone
deposits give the wines extraordinary quality and body. Enjoy a private
tasting before returning to Mâcon for lunch. This afternoon, cruise past
several villages before anchoring in picturesque Trevoux, an attractive,
partially fortified town and former capital of a local
principality. |

Golf
atBeaujolais Golf Course Located 20km
North of Lyon, the course is set in the vineyards and gilded stones
villages region. Golfers will enjoy the clubhouse, a traditional
Beaujolais stonewall residence, and will
taste the famous local vintages selected by the club. The course design is
pleasant, technical, but accessible for all levels. Water hazards are in
play on 8 holes, greens are large and
manicured. |

at Governor Montaplan golf
course In the unique landscape and intact nature of
the Dombes, the Governor features 45 holes between forests, ponds and
valleys with progressive difficulties and interests so diversified that
they can be appreciated by both beginners and advanced golfers. Everybody
can express fully his talent and enjoy a never frightened wild fauna while
practicing serenely. Governor Montaplan features different kind of
difficulties such as water hazards, fairways surrounded by trees, and
subtle contours of the greens. Even though It appears more accessible than
Breuil golf course, Montaplan remains a serious challenge to any golfer
with its 129 slope rating |

Day 6 |
Stroll through charming
Trevoux before cruising into the chic northern suburbs of Lyon,
the culinary capital of France. Entering the city by river affords views not
available to those traveling by road, including elegant river front homes and
the city’s oldest quarter. Take a guided walking tour of the Old Town followed
by leisure time to explore France’s second city. Tonight, sit down to a gala
farewell dinner.

Golf at Villette d’Anthon
Sangliers golf course Considered as the most beautiful golf
course in the Lyon area, Les Sangliers is a very long golf course set amid
the forest with many water hazards where wild swan, grey heron or egrets
watch golfers day after day. Because of its length, short game will play a
key role to reach the excellent greens. Located just a few miles from the
Gourmet Capital, Lyon, this golf course is a wildlife park, as well as a
championship course since the 2001French Open (part of the European PGA
Tour) has been played here. |
